Andrea, Owner of Estefania Esthetic is now a Medical Beautician.
I am proud to tell you that from now on I can call myself a Medical Beautician. I have successfully completed the Dermatology training for beauticians, which means I can now provide skin care according to medical guidelines. I will also follow annual refresher training focused on my skills and current developments within our field.
The focus of the training is on the early recognition of various skin conditions, something that feels like an absolute addition to me in the salon, because the faster and better the detection of the skin condition, the greater the chance of the best achievable result. In addition, by recognizing a skin condition at an early stage, treatment can be carried out professionally or referral to a GP can be made.
At Estefania Esthetic we offer various treatments in the field of permanent hair removal and skin rejuvenation/skin improvement. These treatments can be reimbursed by your insurer. Whether you qualify for this depends on your policy.
Treatments that can be reimbursed by us include laser treatments, electric hair removal, camouflage and acne.
In addition to identifying the skin conditions themselves, I was taught to apply various specializations in skin treatments, such as acne, excess hair and camouflage.
